I thought they'd removed all proposed April 2020 changes as they were all postponed. They have since added back some changes which have since gone ahead like the Handforth Dean free bus changes but they were only added back around a week before the timetables actually changed.
It's also unclear what will happen to the 130 Saturday service long term given there's no mention of it.
A bit more variety on the 88/89 today compared to what it's normally been over the past few weeks (4 x short Enviro 200s) - today there were 2 short Enviros (09 & 11 reg), 1 long Enviro (64 reg) and one of the ex-Go Goodwins Solos.
Short Enviros 41 and 122, long Enviro 30 and Solo 131

131 on the 88 again today. It doesn't sound particularly healthy with the engine noise level sounding more like what you'd expect from one of the big 55 reg Solos than one of the smaller 60 regs, it also seems to be rattling more than you'd expect. One of the 57 reg Enviros that's been used on the 88 recently also hasn't been sounding particularly healthy.
On 131 the radiator fan is permanently on making it more noisy than normal.

New 90 minute frequency with 07:45, 09:15, 10:45, 12:15 & 13:45 Macclesfield-Handforth journeys (and return workings) extended to make connections at Peel Hall and Wythenshawe Metrolink stops 'following passenger feedback.' Still no services via Alderley Park. So sounds like some people have complained about the 130 not running to Manchester and their response is you'll be able to get an onwards tram from Wythenshawe. Alternatively, possibly some people in Wilmslow and Handforth have realised that the hospital and job centre services they usually travel to Macclesfield for are also available in Wythenshawe?
More changes from 19th July:
- additional Saturday buses will be introduced on service 8.
- a normal Saturday timetable will be reintroduced on service 38.
- buses will run to the 85 timetable that should have been introduced on 4th April. Please note that Davenport Avenue in Nantwich and the Grand Junction Retail Park and Macon Way in Crewe will no longer be served.
- some times on service 318 will change and some buses will operate via New Road between Kent Green Wharf and Astbury.
Seems passenger numbers are slowly picking up again.
I got the 10:45 from macc - wythenshawe today which was actually reasonably busy.
Just hope enough people use the extension of the 130 so D&G will keep it on.
