A mate of mine has confirmed that the 3 evoras 6014/6015/6016 are for #38 duties.

The MMCs:

574
575
576
577

Are now for #31/#37 duties instead. Those can often be full & standing on quite a few trips so bigger buses will be much better.
6014 isn't yet showing in service. 575 is tracking as the third vehicle on the 38 today.

The 31/37 did see some decker workings with Arriva. The new MMCs have around the same number of seats as the older 10.8m Enviro 200s and the Streetlite DF, so there won't be noticeable changes in seating capacity on most journeys. Although, maybe the risk of a 8.8m Enviro 200 turning up is reduced.

I think the daytime 31, 37 and 38 services are all commercial too, so they won't be routes D&G are at risk of losing when the new council contracts come into effect at the end of the financial year. And D&G will give up the 385 in January as part of the Bee Network introduction.
A Facebook post shows a print out at Crewe bus station saying half the route 8 journeys were missing this morning due to a vehicle breakdown. D&G had loads of vehicles not tracking this morning, are they all undergoing repairs/servicing? It looks like 153 appeared on the 8 from around 1pm.
504 (The North Western Road Car Co vehicle) made a rare appearance on the Macclesfield to Wythenshawe route today. I think it was unplanned as it didn't start the day in service and then was swapped in at Handforth.

Hoping soon as well that the ex first Enviro200s can be canned as their totally wrecked.

5001 is tracking as doing a single trip on the 3 route this morning. The other MMC is showing as last tracked on the 37 on 27 November.
Also reported on the bus shop that YX67 VGJ and YX18 KYA have been sold to D&G. These haven't appeared on the bus times list yet, so presumably not yet in service.

They must be some of the last standard Enviro200's built sure MMC Enviro200's had already started production on 67/18 plates

The Warrington MMCs are 18 reg (well some got the special CAT registrations initially). I guess it might relate to operators having consistent fleets or having add-on options on existing orders. Alternatively, maybe Alexander wanted the two production lines running simultaneously in case they encountered teething issues with the new model?

I’m sure it was the same with older Plaxton & Alexander bodies that both the old and new models were built simultaneously, the last Pointer 2s built were after the first Enviro200s.

YX18KYA is at Grantham according to bustimes, but was photographed in Hednesford by Tony Hunter as long ago as February.
