It's been switched then as 118 (59 reg) is currently on the late 288/88 A versa was on the 17.50 88 from Altrincham.

2 X Versas and a 64 reg Enviro on the 82 today.

Cheshire West website confirms that change. Although, strangely no new timetable on D&G site - they quite often appear as soon as the TC approves the change.
New 82 timetable now online. Morning peak services to be routed via A556 between Hartford and Leftwich, avoiding Greenbank. First service arrives on Gadbrook Road at 09:15 and last leaves at 17:10 - not really useful for full time workers working office hours nevermind Roberts Bakery and Morrisons warehouse workers who start early.
Also morning college day only duplicate now appears on the timetable.
2 Versas and 1 Enviro on the 82 seems to be a regular sight now - often the 59 reg Enviro is one of the workings.
I see one of the ex-Manx Streetlites has been given the registration DG55 BUS and fleet no 55. Has it been out in service yet?

It was out in service yesterday morning working from Crewe

I had transbus dart CHZ 8960. Smart looking bus in its cream & blue D&G heritage livery.
Apparently preserved now too although why they didn't preserve an actual dennis dart seems strange.
It's the first brand new bus bought by D&G which is why it's retained as a heritage bus.

Cheers didn't know that. Must say I like the way D&G colour brand some routes:
Blue 2
Yellow 9
Orange route (forget it's number)
Heritage livery on CHZ 8960
Also the plumline purple & cream livery is really quite attractive.
Thankfully they've stepped up to the plate & are keeping their fleet much cleaner & tidier these days as their fleet used to look really scruffy inside & out.
