D&G were quick to say they'll run the 31, 37 and 84 and but haven't published a timetable for the 84, despite doing so for other routes they didn't previously mention. I think that means they've changed their original plan based on what Stagecoach have proposed. D&G don't generally have a record of registering services just ahead of another operator, so I don't think they'd do that with Stagecoach. Especially with Stagecoach's reputation of trying to eliminate the competition on routes.

I think the main missing pieces from the Stagecoach timetable are the lack of additional Nantwich to Crewe journeys on Saturdays, plus no Sunday service. D&G don't have a reputation of providing as many journeys on Saturdays, as on weekdays. While they stopped running Sunday services in Cheshire altogether. It'll be interesting to see what they now plan to do on the 84.
Fully enough on vosa updates only 10, 31, 37 are showing as new registrations, no 84 showing as new registration

I think we can presume they heard about Stagecoach's 84 registration before they submitted the paperwork for their proposed service.

D&G refer to themselves as an independent company. In practice they are of course part of CentreBus group. Still a small group compared with Arriva etc though.
I must admit that I thought it was just a case of JP owning both, rather than it being a subsiduary, but according to companies Centrebus hold more than 75% of the shares, from 2020 - that said Julian Peddle holds over 75% of their shares.
Seems strange D&G have allocated a StreetLite DF to the 312 today, while there's small Enviros on both the 88 and 130. There wouldn't seem to be any benefit to passengers allocating them that way around.
156 seems to have become a designate vehicle for the 93. It's run all the 93 journeys since 22 Feb.
Is there any news on which vehicles are moving to D&G for the additional services they are taking on?
I've had it confirmed today (24th) by 2 arriva macc drivers I'm mates with that there was a D&G boss at gaw end lane depot yesterday looking round.

They were both at the depot while he was there so looks likely that they'll be possibly wanting to rent the depot after arriva vacate it.

Would make more sense to run the locals from there & probably their 130 as well as it'd mean a lot less dead mileage than having to run it from wincham.

Think whatever they're taking on is going to cannock first for a repaint & any work that needs doing as they've got a better engineering facility than crewe..imagine they'll stay there until needed.
