More changes to the 88/89 from 28th April. As well as the TfGM funded evening/weekend Wilmslow-Altrincham journeys there's some 'relaibility improvements' which include re-timing services, changing the amount of padding and increasing turnaround times.

Also D&G website says a X41 Stafford-Uttoxeter - Alton Towers service starts in May with timetable to follow.
The 10.8m Enviro200s and the Solo SRs 101-106 have shorter wheelbase than the big Solos which makes them more manouvreable. The Taxis in Wilmslow station aren't too much of a problem. It's the brain dead morons in cars picking up or dropping off passengers that just park where they want. The SRs were lilely used to upgrade other routes, 3 of them have now moved to Longton.

The D&G Solo SRs seemed to work well on the 88. I'm not sure why D&G thought it was a good idea to replace them with other buses.
Current allocation at Winchem is 2 Solo SRs
5 Enviro200s
7 or 8 normal Solos
You have too many 'normal' Solos.
Enviro200 30,31,32,33,53
Solo SR 105,106
Solo 45,129,131,137,140,141

Since SRs 101-103 moved to Longton big Solos in the series 137-141 have been turning up here.

In 2019 you could argue a SR is a normal Solo and the rest are old Solos or perhaps classic Solos.
As there are currently only 2 SRs at Wincham the 'classics' are most definitely the normal

Using that logic only the longer 55 reg ones are the normal ones, as the rest are short Solos and the ex-airport one doesn't have the same exterior lighting as the ex-Go Goodwin's ones.

I think the first comment on the article says it all really doesn't it.
82 branded Enviro on the 1745 88 Altrincham to Knutsford. It looks to have taken the place of a Solo SR which was on the 88/89 earlier.
