A driver appeared to completely lose control of Solo 127 in Crewe yesterday, it rammed in to cars and vans parked on both sides of the road and almost hit 3 boys on bikes before crashing in to a hedge.

Report and some damage photos from the bus crash and the damage to the 4 cars it crashed in to. Looks like their insurer will be paying up for some replacement cars

It seems 177 - YJ58 PKU has been loaned to Crewe to cover the absence of 127.
D&Gs September Changes are now live.

1/1A - Reduced to standard half hourly
5 - Early Morning trips introduced
8A - Diverted via Pinfold Drive in Norton
12 - Some trips will no longer serve Mablins Lane or Parkers Road due to poor parking at school times.
16 - No longer running to Buxton
64 - Withdrawn (Didn't last long did it! Another example of D&G trying to be a saviour but expecting an instant success)
85 - Nantwich - Crewe shorts withdrawn with first and last also withdrawn. (Any more cuts to the 85, it will be a worthless route. So unloved. If only D&G gave a stuff about their commercial network, it would significantly change the 85).
100 - Times changed
108 - Extended to Buxton on some trips and retimed.
188 - Afternoon service retimed

Given the recent reports of parking issues at Pickmere lake in school holidays, which made BBC North West news. Maybe they should run a weekday 15:02 Knutsford to Northwich 89 and a 15:50 Northwich to Northwich during school holidays. This was suggested to them last year but Chris Almond made up excuses about weekday 89 journeys being withdrawn to add in an additional Macclesfield run. This was inaccurate as the number of Macclesfield runs have remained the same (well below the level they were at under GHA) and the 89 afternoon journeys were withdrawn so D&G could run the afternoon 188 without needing to use an additional vehicle. Previously they'd used a vehicle which had come off the 288 for the afternoon 188 but they don't still have the 288 contract.
Never mind a bus getting delayed by 23 minutes, D&G's excessive timetable padding will bring that delay down to just 9 minutes by the time it reaches the terminus

Vehicle 44 showing as tracking on the 38 today. If it's still in it's orange livery, that'll be an unusual site, even if that vehicle has been used on Cheshire routes before it got the Orange 1 livery.

It is 44 and it's still in Orange 1 livery.
107 now has one of the adverts for the Crewe taxi company's app, replacing the advert for the Staffordshire hotel it had previously. I quite liked the old one, it made a change from the usual 88 Vape and taxi company ads.
