That is pretty much inevitable if it is to alternate with the Arriva 38 over the rest of the route, which it does.
I think D&G have a good chance here as am sure they also have the Sunday 38 Contract as well
They do have the Sunday 38 which interworks with the 5 in Macclesfield

Sunday services are commercial now as funding for them was withdrawn.
Strangely a baby Enviro is on one of the 82 workings while a big one is being used as driver changeover vehicle.
New 38 and 82 timetables now on D&G site.

Also a mention of roadworks in Kelsall which will mean 82 services won't be able to serve the village but a special 'mini bus' will operate - I wonder if they mean a baby Solo or perhaps one of the vehicles currently used for Little Bus will be used. TSS are supposed to be getting a new fleet for the replacement service so don't know what will happen to the existing fleet. Also some D&G drivers have transferred to TSS.
Maybe some of the little bus fleet will be used as driver shunt vehicles as we have a shortage of shunt cars. Versa 25 was the Knutsford shunt/canteen today.

56 reg Enviro being used as 82 changeover vehicle. Noticed the paintwork is very shabby and it's not the same red as the Versa being used on the 82.
That will be 54, ex London and still in London red hence the shabby appearance.

Some of the 55 reg Enviro 990s also have paintwork in a shabby state but they've obviously been with D&G for a number of years - some of them also have the London style red paint on the sides of the bus and white paint on the roof, surely if you're going to paint the roof a different colour then a dark colour is better than white.

I notice the 4th big Streetlite has appeared on the fleet list, while the 'Little Bus' fleet are no longer on the list.

Also on an unrelated point the 42 and 85 will not run via their usual routes until further notice, due to the retirement home complex collapse on Rolls Avenue in Crewe.
