Doesn't look like their small Enviro 200s are doing at all well at the moment.
34 - replaced by 43 yesterday lunchtime, not in service today
35 - replaced by 41 on Monday morning and been out-of-service since, having previously failed last Friday
36 - been out-of-service for a while
38 - failed yesterday morning, not in service today.
42 - failed in service this afternoon
120 - in service all week but hasn't been sounding healthy
121 - been out-of-service for a while
108 Saturday service to be revised to include 3 return workings between Leek and Buxton, something the 16 service provides on weekdays. There's possibly more flexibility now it's not interworked with the 109.
How often do D&G Buses get washed? was in Crewe yesterday and a fair few where more Black than red..

Unusual for a cancellation to appear while the tendering process is ongoing. Usually they only appear when the contract goes to another operator. Even though the new service won't go to Wythenshawe Hospital, a route truncation doesn't normally result in a new registration.

It is a strange one but it's D&G. They don't do things as any normal company would.
Other D&G news, from 20th Feb, the 85 Sunday service is being withdrawn and the 94 will not serve Congleton on Saturdays.

Possibly not enough drivers to retain all the current routes at the current service levels? It sounds like the Feb changes are going to be short notice ones.
Also not sure they've been bidding for new work recently, with Stagecoach winning a Northwich route and Arriva getting the new 288 contract, a route D&G used to run. D&G have a reputation of winning contract work by undercutting the big operators.
YX11 CNE has been a busy little bus this morning.
It did 06:30 Wilmslow to Knutsford, 07:05 Macclesfield to Knutsford (25 minutes late), 08:00 Mobberley to Knutsford to Academy (12 minutes late). Pretty impressive it managed to do Knutsford to Macclesfield (empty) in 26 minutes and Macclesfield to Knutsford via Radbrooke Hall (in service) in 33 minutes.
SL64 JGF turned up to do 07:10 Knutsford to Altrincham almost 45 minutes behind schedule, so presumably either a fault with that bus or there was a staffing issue.
31 was operating the 85 out of the Crewe depot yesterday. This morning it appeared to fail on the 88, meaning the peak time Knutsford to Macclesfield journey didn't operate.
