64 reg Enviro arriving in to Knutsford earlier from Crewe direction with 188 on destination display. It's going to be around 40 minutes late at its start point so presumably either there's been a breakdown or a driver has phoned in sick.
Electrical problem. Driver likely went via Plumley/Lower Peover to avoid traffic on A556 and Northwich Road.

Seems D&G have lost/axed admin staff. Chris Almond (Transport Manager) is responding to emails sent to info@dgbus.co.uk and timetable updates on the web are getting done at the last minute, opposed to as soon as the TC approves any new registrations/changes to existing services as was the case previously.
According to the Staffordshire CC site, the D&G changes in December are all simply timing point changes, and the timetables themsleves are not changing. I'm assuming this is the case for the changes in Cheshire slated for the same date?
It isn't only admin staff D&G have lost There are currently no cleaners at Wincham with both having left last week. Some drivers have also left.

Why are people leaving D&G in such big loads? I thought they were quite good at getting and keeping staff.

Are they after replacement admin staff or are they just trying to cut costs?

There's one change to the 85. The 07:06 Wychwood Park to Nantwich service will start from Weston, White Lion instead at the same time it currently stops there (07:09.)

They have their ongoing advert for drivers on their website but no mention of cleaning or other vacancies.

I think it must have been added at the same time they removed a roadworks notice under the 88 service.
