The Olympics do not go on for ever so why should they be transfers?
I was only asking no need to be like that
I was only asking you a question-no offence intended.
There are still Enviro200's on the 347, and the odd MAN too, it's certainly not become exclusively double deck operated.
Have to say I really hope the newer Enviro 400's on loan to AZ don't stay, been on two over the weekend on the 236/7 and they are very slow and sluggish when climbing up hills compared to AZ's regular older examples.
Out of interest when these 40 Hybrid Enviro 400s arrive for Stockport Depot I'm guessing they won't be exclusively for 192s, the reason why I say this is due to the following:
1> Sharston Depot got Hybrids for 42/43s but these now appear on other routes
2> Hyde Road Depot got Hybrids for 197/219s but these now appear on other routes
3> Stockport Depot got 19600s batch of MAN Enviro 400s and branded them and some of the 19300s for 192s and look what happened, they spend most of there time on anything but 192s, regular routes for them seem to be either 23/23As or 383/384s
So I'm guessing that Stockports will appear on other routes from time to time, be nice to see them on 383/384s or 23/23As.

I can confirm they are loans just got weekly report seen 19260 on loan to AZ none taken
13995 was on the 368 in Heald Green at teatime.
Interesting choice of allocations in Stockport today as a Enviro400 was on the 374 while a 300 was on the 192 to Hazel Grove.
Also saw a Enviro400 being towed down Oldham Road through Newton Heath around 5.30pm-ish, presumably a broken down 76 being taken back to Hyde Road depot.
Meanwhile, it's been suggested on the Skyscraper forum that a cross-city bus service will start in September running from East Didsbury, while on VOSA, the 50 registration now says 'Manchester - Media City'. So, it may be possible that the 50 is being extended to MediaCity.
Quote:The first cross city bus service since 1986 starts on 2 Sept and is going to give Metrolink a run for it's money. Let's hope they "up" their game to compete succesfully. Some of the buses will be branded specially.
The first weekday one leaves a terminus in the south at 0505 in the morning and arrives at ????? at 0551. The last one leaves ????? at 2326 and arrives at ????? at 0015. At the best it's going to offer a 7/8 minute service and at the least least every 15 mins with every 10 mins at all other times.
So................. what is it? Start guessing. Prize to be decided.
Quote:Clue. It starts at East Didsbury.

Well I would have broke it sooner, but I've been tight lipped on orders! I haven't even seen this memo lol. Basically, the route from Salford Crescent to Media City is that of the current service 9.
Sorry Nicholas, it's in traffic so presume the secret is out, lol

76 is one of my local routes, so that is good news for me. Even though the route is longer, it might give First a run for their money on the 180/184 route.
Also, Stagecoach running through Salford will certainly be weird at first, but good to see Stagecoach branching out. Maybe we'll finally see First and Stagecoach taking each other on at long last. Well, hopefully
