I wonder if this special vinyl is anything to do with the current 25 year anniversary of Stagecoach operating in Manchester, I have seen the odd front destination display on a Stagecoach Manchester vehicle mentioning the fact.
It would be good if they did something to celebrate the fact.

It will be interesting to see if they do, I have fond memories of the old buses when I got the 41 so many years ago.
I noticed that other Stagecoach depots around the country have been doing stripped buses, so it'll be nice to see one more Stagecoach livery on buses in addition to the old & new standard / magicbus and even one with a megabus livery

Seen out this afternoon on 15s was Dennis Trident 18385, not seen one of these out with Stagecoach Manchester for a while.

18360 and 18441 have recently entered service at Wigan too

You could indeed describe them as
stripped buses. Stripped of current Stagecoach liveries.
I saw Megabus 54217 & Megabus 59223 operating the 42B this afternoon at 4.25pm (ish) passing Cheadle College. Do they operate many school / college duplicate routes or is it always the 42B?

Quite a few, as I've seen them on the 112, 118 and 197, theres more too but unsure on which other ones there are.
