I can report two Magicbus Trident ALX400's in the Glodwick area of Oldham on school runs. Sorry I couldn't identify them but its a first to see one, never mind a pair one behind the other on separate duties!
saw 20972 and 20973 within 20mins both at the same stop on ashton old rd yesterday

Were they in service? They are normally used for driver training these days, unless there is a shortage at the moment.

never noticed but i wouldn't have thought so are they not training vehicles
20972 and 20973 are both training vehicles. However, they are also used as taxibuses if they are not needed by training - most likely they would have been on driver changeovers for the 219 at Grey Mare Lane.

That was covering the 1612 journey on Friday, as the bus that should have ran it was severely delayed.
Not surprised , definitely needs an extra bus to do the 1512 from Leigh , always loads getting on at st.marys and plenty of traffic up to green lane , never usually leaves Leigh till around 20 past - half past
The problem is that since it was rerouted via Boothstown, it hits the schools, whereas it missed them before the route changed.
