You have to scroll through so many pages to find what you're looking for and when you get there it's still unclear. For example according to the timetables the 11 does not serve the White Hart in Cheadle but the 11A does.
The website is also showing incorrect information for example saying the new 7/7A will now serve Heaton Mersey when it doesn't and the Stockport network map has several mistakes.
It's one thing making changes but you need to be clear with the public about the changes or you lose more custom.
You are not the only one who finds the timetables difficult to read. TfGM haven't been publishing new timetables for most services (and the ones they did publish on the "Planned service changes" page disappeared). They have likewise withdrawn the TfGM app meaning that they provide it only on their website.
Although not the most ideal, it might be better to look at the bustimes.org website and then use the Stagecoach website (bus tracking) before heading for your bus.

Not everyone has access to a computer.
It would help if some bus stops didn't have the wrong numbers on them.
It would also help if the bus numbers shown on a bus stop were reflected on a timetable at the stop.

I think the issue is that Stagecoach Manchester use the auto generated timetables from their system and they generally look awful. More so in Manchester where all the days get mixed up and you end up with all the trips showing the random notes.
Shame they don't put some money into PDF timetables. MCSL don't have the fanciest timetables in the world but they are functional and certainly do the job without making things too confusing. If they don't want to do that then why not steal the TFGM PDF timetables and put them on the site (much like MCSL did on their Merseyside routes pre Covid). Either way, they need to look at something as the current timetable layout is dismal and certainly doesn't help their anti franchising bid having such confusing information online.
The following Enviro400s have left the fleet (Being split between East Midlands, North East and West): 19101, 19112, 19113, 19114, 19115, 19116, 19167, 19179, 19182, 19184, 19186, 19187 and 19188.
New arrivals this week are: 11537 SK20AWV, 11539 SK20AWX, 11541 SK20AWZ and 11543 SK20AXB.
11549 (SK20AXJ) just noted in Timperley on service 11.
An example of the current unacceptable farce on the 42B/C this morning.Elderly gent[mid 80's with walking stick] patiently sat at the bus stop at the end of Moss Lane Bramhall at 1220 ,waiting for the 1223 42B into Cheadle Hulme and further. Timetable on the bus stop was January 2020 and said 1223. He was horrified when I told him that there was NO bus for another half hour because of the ''route change/cut'' but there was one from Handforth Dean[''that's no use to me''].I said there might be a 379 at the bus stop around the corner but I didn't know what time it went. He stayed at the first bus stop.
The 379 goes from the old 308 bus stop but there is NO time table there at all. After numerous attempts ,I discovered that there was one at 1238 so started walking for ten minutes and stopped two stops further on for the 379 which I waited for till 1245-no sign .So I started walking again -hadn't gone 50 yards when 19391 hurtled around the bend and sailed off into the distance at speed.Ah well,I guess it wasn't meant to be but it remains a total horrendous shambles and neither GmPT and Stagecoach [particularly the former]appear to care.

First day on the road I believe.
11548 spotted at about 1515hrs at Grove Lane layby on the 378. Ready for testing its suspension on the Outwood Rd humps. Some bus stops around here still show the wrong numbers and there are STILL no timetables. Joe Public hasn't got a chance of knowing what goes where when and by what route. Then GmPT will say not enough people are using the routes What route-that is the question?
42C still wasting half an hour every hour virtually empty at Handforth Dean . Cheadle Hulme/Bamhall public by and large still mystified why they're waiting at bus stops for services on the 42B that don't come[any more]
I saw an Enviro 200, IIRC 37036, on route 323 on Monday. I had seen an Enviro 400 on it earlier in August. Once it is rerouted via Edgeley to replace part of routes 309/10, I reckon it will always be single-deck.
