What about the double decker? anything about the double decker? do stagecoach want keep of B9TL's and B7RLE's as well?

Thank, pal

Martyn

Last I heard, Stockport's redundant 59 reg's were replacing them when the new E400H's arrive.

Why are the Stockport's 59's going rather than older Enviro400's? And why are they now being classed as 'redundant'?

Some older Enviro400's are already allocated for cascading. I don't know where they are going, though I think some 06's may be going to East Midlands.
The 59 reg's are 192 branded. When the hybrids arrive they will flood the route so the 59's will be left out in the cold, so making them an obvious choice to go. They are also unpopular with drivers so that may be another reason.
It is possible that the remainder of the older Enviro400's may eventually go into reserve with a view to future Magic services, as opposed to them leaving Manchester.

yeah I tho so,

Also there is VOSA website i caught it is on wigan's operator and address i don't know if this is true it got 150 vehicles but tho wigan have a 120 or less it is any correction of wigan's stagecoach vehicles?

Thank guys,

Martyn

All that means is that the Traffic Commissioner has granted Stagecoach Manchester permission to operate up to 150 vehicles at a time from that depot, as they have been issued with 150 Operating Discs.

They don't have to operate the full 150, it does allow for spares. However, the company could have 1000 buses at the depot as long as only up to 150 are in revenue earning service at one time. What can happen (and is allowed) is for a bus to go out with no disc on it to replace a bus that has broken down, and the disc taken from the broken down bus and placed into the replacement vehicle. You don't tend to see that happen anyway (although I have).

Confirmation of takeover date, and information on ticket validity and sales.

Also confirmation of the list of services. Stagecoach will run the 32, 540, 593, 598/598N, 600/600N/601, 610, 621/628, 625/626, 629N, 631/632, 635N, 658 and 695N. They will also operate the evening and Sunday service on the 33 and Sunday service on the 113.

The X34 will be jointly operated with First Day and weekly tickets from First or Stagecoach will be valid on all journeys on the X34 (similar arrangement to the 22). However, Stagecoach tickets will not be able to be bought on services until their ticket machines are installed.

I'd be quite annoyed if the 59 plate Enviro400's went to Wigan or did get cascaded. AZ is crying out for newer double deckers.
Although a few have been cascaded and replaced with slightly younger ones the majority are in a poor state and sound very rough, and when you consider First face just allocated 18 58 plate double deckers to the pioneer fleet, it's about time Stagecoach followed suit.

Although personally I'd be quite happy to see a few more tridents at AZ, I've been lucky enough to travel on one of the two for the last 3 mornings on the 236, they perform really well up the steep Mottram road and are a lot more comfortable to travel on than the old tatty Enviro400's (which are actually newer Smile )

First have posted details about the transfer of Wigan depot to Stagecoach.

The First range of tickets will be valid on Stagecoach Wigan services until 6 January 2013. FirstMonth tickets will be valid for use but not for purchase. The FirstDayM60 and FirstWeekM60 tickets are valid on services 32 and X34 between Old Clough Lane and Manchester and on the 33 between Worsley and Manchester.
