Is this the one that had the knackered engine? Stagecoach must have spent a fortune fixing it.
I'm glad it's back in service though as it did seem a bit 'too young to die' at 53 reg.

17241 might be in service at Hyde Rd
13995/96/33084 to go back in to service at Stockport
17066/17617/24/60/68/69/70 service at Sharston
Yes they're all back in service at Sharston now. I haven't seen the Stockport ones yet but I'm sure they'll follow.
Looks like there's been a bit of depot swapping as I'm sure the tridents belonged to Stockport before.
By the way, what do you mean 16189 and 16762 failed? Is that MOT?

I prefer the reg number at the bottom as it's easier to read. On the 19*** series it's in a window next to the service number and you have to be really close to the bus to be able to read it. This has caused me endless problems when looking for specific buses
The hybrids all have the reg number at the bottom and the old tridents used to as well. I suppose they fancied a change and 'it seemed like a good idea at the time'
I think it looks better, the design just looks cleaner.

I presume ADL incorporated the reg plate into the rear window back at the time of the Enviro400s launch as a design feature - however, as you say, some of them are pretty much unreadable - particularly after a year or two - the lights seem very dim and the glass looks to get dirty inside as well as outside at times.
The plate has been repositioned to the rear bumper because of ECWVTA regulations, which don't allow number plates to be mounted behind glass, as well as mean that all new buses have to be fitted with marker lights down the side.

no broke down on route on in 16189 cases it got to where it was going and failed there
17202 has moved from Stockport to Hyde Rd
Yes 17202 is on the 168/169 route now, along with a few other ex-Londoners.
At Stockport its use would be limited as it wouldn't meet the Quality Partnership regulations to do the 192, and most other services in Stockport are single decker, particularly at the moment with some of the fleet away at the Olympics.

what about 17200/39 they are given as Stockport on my list
I'm guessing they'll probably go the same way, or maybe go to Sharston.
Hyde Road will need more than just those few by the time the 58/09 fleet has been decimated.
