Just this minute seen a 256 branded hybrid heading down ashton new rd on 169 on diversion due to fairfield rd closure for some big fire seen great big clouds of smoke billowing up and whatnot.
No Manchester MANs have Cummins engines, Fife converted some, at least 22266, 22276 and 22277.
John
22266-8/76/77 were the trial ALX300s converted. Apart from the 07 plate ALX300s at Yorkshire, all the other Cummins conversions have been Enviro300s AFAIK.
17038 was a pleasant sight on the 255 into Partington at 16.05

Don't forget the Perth based EL Kinetic (22505 IIRC) that was done.

Was that built with Cummins or a D0826/36? Are you referring to MAN 18.240 Enviro300's.

Hadn't forgotten it, just forgot to say! D'oh!
The Kinetics Stagecoach had are MAN A69 (18.240) based, but some have since been converted to Cummins as part of the same program as the Enviro300s.
From what I've heard a few Enviro300 MAN's (18.240) have had fires.
When the full new batch of Enviro400s 10401 -10429 do arrive at Sharston in the near future.
Starting to wonder what will be displaced this time?
Hopefully not any of the descant group of 56/07 plate Enviro400s
When do the new style Enviro400s for Manchester start arriving?
