I notice on South Yorkshire Transport forum that Stagecoach have re-painted some hybrids into corporate colours and wondered if Manchester will follow especially as there's a review into the use of multiple liveries? Look a lot smarter than the 'farmyard' hybrid green.

Stand on a certain section of the route or travel on a couple of houneys and assume because only half the bus is full that the service as a whole dosen't do well. I've seen Middleton services come into town pretty full and leave pretty full.
You make a good point regarding the future. This daft rumour that first are giving up the evening 17. Has anybody thought that perhaps just possibly Stagecoah may intend to run on the 17 commercially? Personally I think magics would do well but it's a possibility. Another is that with the constant swapping of services between depots lately maybe Middleton are gaining a service from another depot.
I'd quite like Middleton to gain route 76, as it is sort-of a north Manchester route.
I assume the 22 MMCs potentially coming to Middleton are double-deckers.

As regards the 76 group of services, I must admit, I don't know the layout of Middleton depot (only seen it in passing), but I'm not sure it could take an extra 13 or so buses, especially as in total, it would represent a massive increase in the double-deck allocation (24).
The Middleton 22 are due to arrive towards the very end of February, but will be going to Hyde Road for preparation and commissioning before moving straight over to Middleton.
At the moment middletons pretty much at capacity, the way the yard used to be it could take a lot more but since designated bays and a one way system were introduced it's about full now.

Didn't Ashton borrow one of Sharstons MMCs about a week before their 31 MMCs started to arrive at Hyde road? The fact Middleton has had an MMC of loan for driver/engineer training suggests there due sooner rather than later.
Be rather daft to put these on 66 plates now but saying that, it did happen with the Connect 50 hybrids registered around a week to 10 days before 14 plates...

I hope the reliability of the 11 is discussed, it is a joke it's either 2 or sometimes even 3 at once or a 15 to 30 minute wait for one!
The main problem with 11 is down to traffic in various places, sometimes Cheadle can be busy causing the one behind to catch the one in front up, then there's Wythenshawe Hospital at visiting times, I've been through the Hospital grounds at visiting times a few times in the past and services can easily lose upto 20mins just to get through the traffic wanting various car-parks that are full but people still wait at the barriers thinking a space will magically become available.
As for trying to do something with 11/11A I'm not to sure what actually can be done.
Not sure if this has already been posted but Steven Knight Media reports demonstrator 80027 has joined the Stagecoach fleet permanently and is now numbered 10430
