These 2 are now on the road, 11520 has been taxed too.
Is there a specific reason they’re moving hybrids to Magic bus?

I think there is a low-emission zone coming for Manchester, effecting the Oxford Road area in particular. This would make the typically 57/08-reg Enviro400s currently on Magic Bus services non-compliant.

Stagecoach has gone and got very eco-friendly buses to run alongside there old buses looks bad would you say. So by moving them to magic bus it looks like they are thinking about Oxford road and Stockport road both there main routes out of Manchester.
Makes Go North West the bad ones now

Hardly because on the face of it all Stagecoach have done is move all the older magic buses - which will presumably be painted up in the new livery, to depots that don’t have routes that go into these low emmmision zones like Ashton which is suddenly operating most of its routes using magic buses!

Thanks, seems like the only change Oxford Road wise is a few less diesels (not a bad thing) as most of those hybrids were probably on Oxford Road routes already. I won’t be using Oxford Road anymore but cleaner air on that road would be a godsend.

it is worth reminding that we are in Summer now so magic buses always endup on any route not on oxford road as they use them so they can get MOTs and pre MOTs work done on Standard buses before they are needed back for freshers week.
