interesting to see one of the ex dennis`s darts out today 33091 (r574) looking ready to die on a 7 this afternoon thought these were back in reserve

They're still polluting the 313 too -33092 today. So uncomfortable and unpleasant to travel on.

At least we can console ourselves that 33174 has gone, albeit only to AZ (so Manchester is still lumbered with it!) One more time of the door slamming against the front of the bus on opening would have driven me crazy.

(05/09/2012 19:19)Mayneway Wrote: [ -> ]I'm confused. One minute all the MANs are going, virtually all AZ services are done with Enviro400/200's, the exception being the 217/218, yet over the last few days there's MANs all over Ashton. This morning I spotted 3 which all looked like loans as they had moderner seating, all waiting to do 216's, the 236 and some 237's have gone back to MANs and I even spotted a couple on the 347.

Are the 2 Tridents still at AZ?? Saw one on Monday on 236's but not seen either since??

I share your confusion. It seems quite bizarre.
It seems like only yesterday AZ was set to go virtually completely d/d, now the MAN's are taking over routes like the 216, which I would have thought would be too busy for MAN's.
I do know all the Stockport MAN's X reg and older were supposed to be leaving, so they're obviously 'clearing the decks' by loaning them to AZ. They'll be replaced by the 11 reg Enviro200's when they return from London I suppose, but it may be standing room only on some routes for a while.

So the 11 reg Enviro200's are being replaced with X reg MANs?

Only during the Paralympics while the 11 reg's are away. On their return the older ones will go to their new home.

Oh well. The waiting will make it all the more satisfying when it goes Smile Not that I'll be pleased to see it go of course LOL
Since Monday routes 383/384 have returned to double-decker during Mon-Sat daytimes. These are moslty Enviro 400s with occasional Tridents and even Spectra 13995. It has orange rather than green railings, as well as blue seats, so seems destined to be retained here for a while. Being non-standard, it would be ideal for MagicBus.

Route 312 does operate various types. Yesterday I rode a Dart-Pointer and MAN-ALX300 to and from the enlarged Sainsbury store at Cheadle, but also saw a Solo on that route.
Could someone clarify whether 10042 is 76 branded? I went to Oldham last Tuesday and saw all of 10043-51 on the 76 along with a couple of older Enviro400s, 19328 was one and the Jubilee 192xx was the other. 10042 was not around and it occurs to me that it may not be branded and therefore works on any Hyde Road route.

Thanks in advance.

13995 was withdrawn, 7/12 but 13996 did re enter service

10042 is indeed the unbranded Enviro400 in that batch.

22055 well and truly kaput in Stanley Rd and by Grove Lane park this afternoon.I saw it about 3pm causing a largish traffic jam just by A34/Stanley Rd roundabout and it was in the layby at Grove Lane park with breakdown truck at 5-30pm still showing no sign of movement.
