Wrexham depot could do with a few more of these deckers or at least some 10.7M darts for route 3. I noticed today and on other occasions during the last few weeks, that the MPD's on this route are quite often crammed with standing loads and "BUS FULL, BUS NOT STOPPING" is being shown on the display.
There was an article in the Wrexham Leader about Route 3 a couple of weeks ago, raised by our local councillor, because passengers are complaining. Arriva's response was that they are monitoring the situation. Something needs to be done, because it's a joke right now.
Well if the council have a problem with the fleet why not put some money into Wrexhams Transport..because they dont seem to put money into Wrexham companys but have all the time to get media to moan about it.
4421/2 are coming here from Birkenhead.
These two vehicles have been the odd man out at Birkenhead will these be put through refurbishment to bring them to the standard of the Sapphire enviro's or will they be operated in as seen condition.
I would imagine at first they would be used in the current condition and possibly 'tarted up' at a later point?
I understand they will be 'brought to the standard', but I also understand Wrexham are short?
Ive been told that 4421/22 are being Refurbished for Sapphire but not to full spec so im just expecting Leather over the Current Seats and Sapphire Livery

also guys remember from the 21st when Aberystwyth closes 0001/2 YJ03PFX/YJ04BKF are being Allocated to Wrexham depot
also if the X94 doesnt remain Arriva 2793/4/5 CX04HRN/R/P are moving elsewhere
but 2799 J999ABW will remain at Wrexham!
2793 is parked up in st helens round near the body/engine shop.

Sounds like they may be done up in a similar fashion to 2799 then?

When does the decision about the X94 get made? I wonder whether Southport could again be a destination for these vehicles, as further Marshall Dart replacements, if the X94 does go to another operator...
