seen a post about that on facebook, apparently there was no other buses in the depot that was able to go out in service so that went out as its got tax and MOT on it still, not sure how true that is
they do have T562 JJC stored somewhere lol but then again they will need to re tax and mot it before use lol
Nice to see a alx 200 in Wrexham again
I rode on 2313 on the 12/13 and its interior was a tip and it wasn't very fast (didn't seem to change to gear four), so, if it's still like that now, it's completely inappropriate for the 1!
Its astounding the amount of stupid people on the Facebook page constantly asking if buses are running 'as the main roads are clear' can they not understand the message like!
Quote:Wrexham update 8am
Please assume at this time that no Wrexham services will operate.
The depot staff are busy assessing routes at the moment, as soon as we have information one way or the other, we will post it.
To be fair, for messages like that to continually be posted by the public, do we not assume that there's been no subsequent posts 'one way or the other' since 8am? By midday, surely the depot know what is going to run today and what is not in order to be in a position to make passengers aware, no?

I would agree, but less than an hour later they replied saying:
Quote:the buses are unable to get out of the depot at the moment, we will post updates as we get them.
Not long after that:
Quote:Wrexham update 8:40am
The snow is still very deep at the depot, and the following services will NOT be operating until further notice 1,3,4,11a,12,13,37,44a.
We apologise for the ongoing disruption in the Wrexham area.
After a load more people asking after that:
Quote:We think its safe to say that, at the moment, there are no buses running in the Wrexham area.
Then again after another hour of people asking:
Quote: Hi, no Wrexham services are running today. Sorry. We think the depot is in contact with the Council to try and help us free the buses!
Then after more questions:
Quote:Wrexham update 10:30am
Sorry to announce that it is highly unlikely that any Wrexham services will be running today.
yea i did have a go at someone under one of them statuses as i got sick of it myself, at least some services are out today but missing out large parts of the routes
When's the launch of Saphire?? Anyone know at all ?? for the route 1?

As far as I know, there are currently roadworks along the route, so I presume that Arriva will wait for them to clear before launching their refreshed service. After all, it wouldn't be good in business terms to launch a new brand which is heavily affected by those roadworks as, for example, buses may run late.
Nah, just wondering I think Bangor are depserate for those pulsars
to be transffered
Anyone know where the current old deckers are transffering too? from wrexham.... or they going for DISPOSAL?

Whether depots are desperate for buses that they'll will be freeing or not, I think that Wrexham will be more interested in making their new brand successful (especially after all of the input that has been put into the project) and I'm sure that head office will back them up!
