I think wrexham as got a good quality fleet of high spec deckers for the 1,i think there going to be a hit with the passengers.

The reg's of these Sapphire Enviro400s will disguise their age. A visitor from Mars (and the Meerkats) would be forgiven for thinking the buses are 21 years old now!

I would have imagined that they would have wanted 'S' as the prefix, but it looks like S100 ABW is already taken, not sure why the 'J' instead. Could have gone for 'W' but there twice the price!

They have fitted all new alloy wheels from original/paint steel wheels, Arriva spent lots of money as well number plates too.

I bet that ice sculpture stayed cold with the weather we had today!
Hi All
I had a trip out on the Sapphire today but the timetable needs some work to make them run on time.
Anyway here some pics of them on the road
4401 http://flic.kr/p/ef7qC6
4403 http://flic.kr/p/ef7qsZ
4404 http://flic.kr/p/ef7qj2
4405 http://flic.kr/p/efd96b
4407 http://flic.kr/p/ef7ppp
4408 http://flic.kr/p/ef7pg8
They are very nice until I got 4487 http://flic.kr/p/ef7qMB back to Chester. This had no rattles at all where the Sapphines have lots of rattles.
Disappointed with this: http://www.arrivasapphire.co.uk/where-we...#route-map

The google powered map looks like it's just the quickest route between Chester-Wrexham if you asked for directions and not the actual route of the 1.
