yes i agree totally The 12s need deckers on all journeys. I was on a pulsar and it was packed bearing in mind that was 21:30 at night
I think the 12 is Rhyl's busiest route in terms of passenger numbers and profitability, however with the frequency being every 10-12 minutes during the day, does it justify double-decker use for the full peak vehicle requirement (PVR). Question here Conbus is the route busy in the winter as well at that time of day because I suspect a lot of passengers are tourists.

2130 in the Summer it will still be busy , people still want to enjoy themselves for as long as is possible.
2130 in the Winter , i doubt it will be a packed vehicle .

to be honest most of the buses are packed winter/summer at that time. The holiday makers have been using the 1 a lot more this year. tbh i think they should operate the 1 in the winter. I was speaking to one of the rhyl drivers and it has made +55% more profit than last year
Im not doubting you about the Summer , but after the Half Term break in the autumn ridership will almost certaintly drop off as the caravan parks start the closing down process for the dark winter months , before reopening for the Half Term and then Easter.
I was using the 12 a few weeks back on a sunday, where the frequency is supposed to be 20 minutes, But there were a few extra buses running throughout the day, loadings were in large amounts!

Yeah i know there are talks of putting sunday freq to every 15 mins
4701, The Arriva Midlands Lowlander, Is at Wrexham depot on the 1 today.
Is 4701 going to be the spare for the service 1 , or is there other plans for the use of this vehicle .
Not sure, But I've just seen a facebook photo of it with the bonnet up in Wrexham bus station...
I would have thought it would just be stopping off on its way back to the Midlands
