Lots of upcoming changes for Wrexham. Registration changes for 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 14, 27, 32, 33, 35, 41A. All registrations were put in on 29th August due to start 28th October

Very interesting that as Stagecoach extends their Gold 5 to Wrexham, all of a sudden, the Sapphire 1 is getting some advertising. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBc2dvGHf40

The best part is, Stagecoach aren't even competing. The journey time is longer, they are less often and don't have the majority of the features Sapphire has but somehow, Arriva still see it as a threat.

Arriva are to operate the 42 and 44 services as of October 28th.

Could it be the 2 remaining in Chester that go? or possibly a couple of Pool Cadets if the route isn’t that tight.

Cadets could always be transferred to Wrexham and used on other routes, allowing Solos on these? Personally I think it'll be Rhyls Darts or Chester's Solos that end up on the 42 and 44 but I don't know, all can really do is wait and see...

I wouldn't be surprised if they reduce the frequency of a couple of services in the upcoming timetable changes, like they did with the 32/33. This will free up a vehicle or 2 for the 42/44.

I've been told that PVR is going up by 2, so hopefully they wont be reducing any services. There isn't much left that could justify a cut!!

From the 28th of October The Off Peak Weekday & Daytime Saturday frequency on the Sapphire 1 will be reduced to every 15 minutes.

It seems that the 42/44 will interwork as they operate a Hourly service
