The lower deck stairs window has the old logo engraved in it, didn't think they'd do that since the new logo is being rolled out soon

Very similar plates to the last batches of deckers for Rhyl and Chester... Is this purely coincidental or is there a reason for them being so similar?

Maybe they've realised how crap the new logo is, and decided to stick with the old one Smile I suspect that's wishful thinking though.

I see the seats also have Sapphire on them, I thought that brand name was also due to be discontinued?

Can someone confirm whether these are hybrids or not? It was suggested earlier in the thread that they would be hybrids; but if they're E40D, I believe that's the non-hybrid version?
I think the idea of premium branding has since been scrapped and they are now sticking to their traditional sapphire as for the new logo that is to be rolled out in 2018 so at the moment i think everything retains old logos.

Also they were suspected to be Hybrids at first but they're integrals and are E40Ds
Great photos Macauley, they are very high spec buses. I saw your comment on facebook about it being quite hot on the top deck. I hope they're not going to be mobile greenhouses lol.. Hopefully they will be ok when they're moving and air is circulating.

Also ... They've put posters up in the buses today regarding the upcoming route and timetable changes.. It's starting to kick off on their Facebook page, a lot of unhappy people complaining, mainly about the Penycae service not going to be operating through Rhostyllen village, Gardden road and Afoneitha estate.
Do you know what these timetable changes are?

The poster just says minor changes to times and it looks like they just are trying to stick to main roads on quite a few routes.
Service 1: Minor time changes and the current diversion route in Chester will be permanent.
Service 3: No longer serving Rhostyllen village or Afoneitha Estate.
Service 4: No longer serving Gardden road or Afoneitha Estate.
Service 5: Minor change to time and route in Llangollen.
Service 10,11: No longer running via Llewellyn road, all journeys will be numbered 11.
Service 21,21A: Service 21A will serve Cavendish road/ Beech road.
Service 26,27: Route will run via Glascoed way, no longer serving Pendine way.
Service 32,33: Route no longer serving Watts Dyke, just staying on the main road.
