That was the given reason for the swap at the time regardless.
Maybe because 711 etc are not Slimline solo's, where as the likes of 695 are

Spot on, that was the reason for the swap.
If 701 is out tomorrow then let me know as I don't want a wasted trip to Wrexham to find it
I made it to Wrexham last Saturday. I rode Sapphire Enviro 400 City 1005. This was the first one I had done anywhere in the country outside London. I also rode refurbished Solo 661. I repeat my thanks to the member who assured me recently that most Solos at Wrexham are now refurbished. (You know who you are).

Shame the lack of Sunday morning services getting into Wrexham for 10:00 are still been ignored. The evening provision is a good step forward.
Arriva are making big changes to the 41/35 due to WCBC stabbing them in the back Smile

What are the changes?
I'm surprised Arriva haven't also taken over the 44 Barker's Lane route from D Jones as well as the 35. Many years ago, Arriva's predecessor Crosville Wales used to operate 2 services to Borras Park, the present 35 service via Acton and the 24 as it was then known, via Garden Village and Barker's Lane.
