Just regarding to the registrations of 2145/2146, 2145 has been registered CX15BXZ as that has followed on from Chesters Enviro 400s the last one being CX15BXY (initially i think BXZ was supposed to be a extra Enviro400 for Chester) so hence why that is 2145, 2146 is a new registration of course being DK15EGZ so if correct 2147 should be DK15EHA and onwards..

Looking at this:
http://www.newreg.co.uk/dvla-number-plate-identifiers/
'CX' would be issued from Bangor whilst the 'DK' plates would be from Chester, so covering 'Deeside to Shrewsbury' would well fit in for Wrexham and considered local registrations. Good to see local plates been issued opposed to Yorkshire issued from Beverley for Scarborough in the YV to YY range (if they are built in Scarborough that is and not Scotland).

Unfortunately the "EHA" combination isn't issued in the current system. If the remainder are registered in order from 2146 then Wrexham's examples should be registered as follows:
2145 - CX15 BXZ
2146 - DK15 EGZ
2147 - DK15 EHB
2148 - DK15 EHC
2149 - DK15 EHD
2150 - DK15 EHE

Does anyone know why EHA for example is not issued in the current system?...............I must admit to being utterly confused about the new registration logic.
Well EHB onwards then..i was simply answering a question many have been asking about the registrations.
Optare Solo CX57CYU (0664) is now here which now completes the move of the five Solos to Wrexham those being....
CX57CYO - 0660
CX57CYP - 0661
CX57CYS - 0662
CX57CYT - 0663
CX57CYU - 0664
CX57CYA (0660) is currently away being refurbished to the same standards as CX57CYT (0663)(Wi-Fi + E-leather Seating)
The Alexander Dennis E20D Enviro 200s will enter service Early/Mid August.
Lastly over the next few months we will probably see a few vehicles on loan to Wrexham as all of our allocated Solos 0661, 0662, 0664, 0690, 0691, 0692, 0693, 0694, 0695 will be prepared and sent away for their refurbishment (E-leather seating, Wi-Fi and a repaint) and over that period of time once the Solo are done one by one we will also see a lot of Dennis Dart MPDs leaving the fleet for withdrawal one by one.
Any plans for the 26/27 Macauley, I have noticed that cadets have become the norm but with all other Wrexham and Mold routes getting updated surely there's a plan, maybe refurbished Pulsar's?
Pulsar's would be too big personally, specially for the 26, going up the top of Leeswood.
Funny should be discussing this Wrexham depot is to re-arrange many of its routes over the next few months as we are expecting to draft in some big vehicles possibly displaced Pulsars and Deckers have also been mentioned as said the 26/27 is soon to have a dedicated branded vehicle and the 26/27 will be a separate duty to others and will not interwork with the 7/8 as it does now.

I agree with you on that pal, it's just the Solos and Darts are a too small on some journeys and the cadets are an ideal size, maybe next year the route could be treated to some 10.8 Enviro200's
