we already know all that information and the buses will be arriving at the end of the year
They wont be for 487s as stated as they wont fit under the 13 ft bridge in Neston, Liverpool Road.

Speaking of 487s, diversions on today in Neston, Liverpool road closed so route 487/22/24 turning down Raby Park road and Hinderton road.

Also, regarding the 2 and 487/8 -does anybody know if ITSO cheshire travel cards can be used on them? I did ask a driver I was with just to see what the machine did if the card is placed on, and seems to accept the card and adds the price reduction. I didnt actually ask him to issue a ticket as I already had a day rider.. I assume it should work providing you are within cheshire or travelling over the boundery (excluding cross river, so only to birkenhead) but seems to work! Maybe somebody can confirm?

Earliest delivery dates given for the hybrid deckers is January and this is subject to change.
January thats ages to wait
May or may not have been noted, but arriva birkenhead advertising on the front cover of the wirral news this week about the new arrivals, with a picture of all the enviros lined up when new!
A2B MX07CCY is on the yard. Maybe for 492 Wink I have also just been on 4203. Oh dear. It left BBS in first gear, with all the buses going off, then slowed down in the tunnel. And to add to the comments regarding Speke: Laird St, make the most money on Merseyside...
If that was the case then the 418/9 and 492/5 would have to come off to do that .
Too add to Palatines post, a white Ikarus Polaris was also in the depot for MOT this morning.

Pulsar 3010 is also being repaired in the depot.

Indeed, I've heard well that Speke is the most profitable depot (with Green Lane at two and Bootle three). This Birkenhead suggestion was made by the same member who also insisted months ago that Birkenhead would have its DLAs imminently as the drivers "didn't like them" and that more VLWs were coming to Birkenhead. Neither of those things has happened. I rest my case.
