Some kind of publicity event, they do them all over Merseyside quite often.
Has anybody seen X782 NWX lately? last time i saw it was about two weeks ago on the 423

Also will the new pulsars be here next week as the Olympics finish tomorrow?
Surely they'd be needed for the paralympics too?

Not all the vehicles that were used for the Olympics will be needed for the Paralympics as it is a smaller event so some vehicles will start making there way back to the provinces .
I think the Pulsar 2's might stay as one of the Drivers I was speaking to said he was going to.London for 4 weeks fir both Olympics and Paralympics and will have the same Pulsar from 3109-3122 every day he is there
the drivers going down dont always get the buses that will go into that depot, i have seen a photo of one of our drivers (st helens) driving a coach
Does anybody know the number of the old ECW olympian that LS had before it became an open topper in North Wales.

The number of that bus was 3122 C212 GTU. It was the last Olympian new to Crosville, and is the last Crosville link to Arriva.
All the open top ECWs operated at LS, D170FYM and D242FYM both operated there with C212GTU for rails work. I think C212GTU was the only one that did service work. I think there was a third London one but can't remember without checking my notes.
