Rubbish. It's been said so many times already, Speke gets more new buses than other depots because it makes the most money for Arriva. It really is that simple. As for 'wrecking' buses, sounds like a bitter conspiracy theory to me.

to echo that, 2458 is unable to enter service at Speke as it needs a repair at St Helens before service

Agreed, if anything there is another depot that always seems to have lots of buses off the road and we know which one that is.
Why are Enviros leaving so early? There isnt anything to replace them yet is there? It would shock me if they do move so early, but stranger things have happened. Guess its just a case of waiting for confirmation!
The Enviro400's may be going through P&P and loosing cross river logos and returning to LS for the short term
Thats what Im thinking, do some now rather than have a back log when the hybrids arrive!
Reeds Lane closed by Leasowe Station due to flooding, 403/413 & 423 on diversion.

That would be my first thought also

Ditto (however, Arriva are well-known for their "excellent" common sense, so we'll have to wait and see!). LOL
2479 was back out this morning on the 420.
The Alexander Dennis Enviro400s are going i spoke to a arriva Lairds Street Depot driver today on the 437 today which was a Enviro400 and he said "4400 and 4401" are staying because they have leather seats downstairs the rest are going to be replaced by Volvo Hybrid Electric buses 33 to be exact will enter service on routes 407,432,433,437,471,472,464,487 but we dont know as yet when they will arrive, I hope this helps other bus enthusiasts thanks

yes its happening all over the uk and i was on 3011 this afternoon on 413 and the Wayfarer machine to scan your ITSO Bus pass wasnt working it kept beeping ive never heard this before it must be a fault with the machine

Arriva Lairds street depot Cadets are amazing buses plenty of kickdown comes from them especially 2421 the one with a different rear to most cadets from Speke depot.

Yes i cant get enough of the New Pulsars i seen one on the 407 but i didnt catch it in Liverpool opposite Queen Square bus station.
