Has X439 HJA (2439) been out recently, i haven't seen this bus in a very long time?

2439 is NFS, and has been for some time. Parked by the wash looking in a bit of a state.

Cadet 2422 has returned from St Helens.
Training bus 8201 is also visiting, due to 8229 being at St Helens.

Saw 2422 on its delivery run this afternoon going through Birkenhead Bus Station, looked very smart indeed.

I've noticed since the 407/471/2 have started serving cook
street, it's starting to get a little congested there, noticed 2 buses in the 5 mins I was there this afternoon have to circle the city as there was nowhere to wait their time.

Where would you suggest as a layover point or maybe worse still the service will have to be retimed so the buses have no recovery time in Liverpool City Centre and operate a circle back to destination , not much use with services that interwork.

Round the corner near moorfields by all the shops and chippies etc etc, its out of the way from all the traffic then, plenty of space!

Can someone who has a contact confirm what my source was telling me

he said there is a notice in LS sayong the 409 is getting extended to moreton in October whats all this about and is it true?

If true could be one of two things the end of the 106 or retaliatory action for the 39 , but time will tell .
