The Y-ABAs get anywhere and everywhere!
The times i have seen them they have always been on the 464 , a couple have poor destination equipment as well , they may well appear on other routes though as conditions allow .

Yes I saw one a couple of times earlier in the week, but I guess anything goes on this route.

There was one on there today with Plaxton Poitner 2 V575 DJC (2345), if I remember correctly!

Agreed about the destination equipment it's definitely dodgy.
I see them all over the place. I rode down to New Brighton on one a couple of Saturdays back and one was in Heswall Bus Station this afternoon.
Also I think they all have nearside roof damage to some extent.
418/9 and 492/5 is anything thats in the depot job .
The deckers if there on the 492/5 can be called off at any time if there required for any reason like if merseyrail need rail replacements in a hurry .

Just not very often!
They seem to be doing OK lately, not been at the back of the depot for a while (I say that now and there will be one this week lol)
I have also noticed the roof damage to these, would be better if they had a roof bar on them, those top lights always seem to be missing, loose and not working.
Interesting to see 4158 on the 437 today other than that just a pretty normal Sunday allocation.
Forgot to also note that E227 WBG was heading for Laird Street at around 0900 yesterday morning passing me at Birkenhead Bus Station, presumably for it's MOT.
Ah, Thanks Tom, that's why I seen it going along the A41, by the Shell garage at Lairds.
Volvo/Gemini LJ51 DJF (4202) was unusually on the 432/433/437 today with Pulsar 2 MX59 ABF (3010) - and Plaxton Pointer 2 R558 ABA (7558) was on those services this evening, too!
Also, Pulsar 2 MX59 AAY (3008) was unusually on the 407/471/472 - better than last Saturday's allocation of many DAF/Cadets...
Finally, DAF/ALX400 S288 JUA (4158) was on the 411 - not sure on whether this is unusual or not.
