Pulsars on the 487 again the last few days - 3004 and 3011 today.

there were 3 pulsars at least on today
i like seeing the pulsars on the 487, cadets are far too small for this service, hopefully some of the new pulsars will go on it
It appeared all 4 487s where Pulsars today. I just wish they where built to a slightly higher standard, quite rattly especially down the already bumpy road to Parkgate! I do agree though, longer buses are certainly need on a few trips. It appears theyve started allocating the pulsars which are left over after route 2 allocations onto the 487 instead of 403/13. Makes sense though for once!

Also 4002 on 410 today behind 2458, which has a hideous idle vibration!

Agreed. And definitely does look like the norm -at least for now.
Yep, pulsars today as well.

Also had 2433 on the 419 home, it was running 1 minute early! Very rare to see one less than 5 minutes late!

I believe the Women's Open Golf tournament is on at Hoylake at the moment, with the Wirral line between Hoylake & West Kirby being closed due to access to the course (foot crossing?), the same happened a few years back with the Open Golf.

Yes started today until a week on tuesday, so no trains between west kirby and hoylake. I think it's because they use the municipal course for practice, so need to keepthe road across the Hoylake level crossing open!

The crossing that has had its rails removed is about half way between West Kirby and Hoylake at Morpeth Road .

This looks like its going to be a regular occurrence with any major golf event at the Royal Liverpool Golf Course.
