4074 has a mixed opinion, one or two like myself think its alright and one or two don't like it at all, 4082 is a good one.

They don't like hills either. Remember, make sure you wear heavy boots!

I feel a tinge of sadness for Southport. If it were up to me, I would've kept driving them towards Barnsley!

Agree on both. Of those Southport have received so far, 4094 is the worst: slow, a bit scruffy inside with London etchings still present and quite a rough and squeaky runner. 4074 and 4082 are both great, however, and 4064 isn't too shabby either.

Just be glad Southport aren't getting 4143: that is clearly the worst of the North West DLAs I've had. Naff speed and ride quality and tired, uncomfortable interior.
Palatine 2 3309 was still working today - on the late Maghull High School service, which departs there at 16:45.

3309/10/12/19 are all still in service on schools, joined by 4064. The other DLAs are being used on the 43/6.

I have been told that the DLAs we currently have are only on loan, pending arrival of other stock for the schools. What that will be, however, is a mystery!
can an all zone saveaway be used on the 300 from southport to liverpool even thou it goes away from the merseyside border into west lancs
Yes it can, I have used it on the 300 from start to finish.
That's surprising as there was a time that you couldn't as the routes steps outside the Merseyside boundary for a while, if that is right, I wonder when it changed that it could be used.
I assume it will be because the journey starts and finishes within the Saveaway boundary. Whereas it would be invalid in the areas mentioned.

It changed when I worked for the PTE somewhere around 2000-2003. It's ok as long as you have all zones and don't get on or off in Lancs. It used to be a great hit as an inspector, waiting by the boundary in Lydiate....
