They will likely be regulars on the 49 as the 46's PVR will still only be 5 after 30th August. I don't think they're big enough, either.
3039 appears to have transferred to Runcorn too, so if they're going for numerical consistency I expect 3038-3044 and 3046 to be the 8 to leave Southport and join 3045 at Runcorn.
4108 was on the 46 yesterday. A pleasant surprise as it is rare to see one of these out on a Sunday at any depot.

I cant work out what work these would be suited for at St Helens, There are already Four CX58 Plate Solos which are on the small side at the best of times.
Does anyone know the PVRs for Southport's routes please?
