It changed when I worked for the PTE somewhere around 2000-2003. It's ok as long as you have all zones and don't get on or off in Lancs. It used to be a great hit as an inspector, waiting by the boundary in Lydiate....

Shows how long it is when I went to Southport that way by bus, in fact it has been about 10-11 years, I even remember the buses I got there and back, 7631 there and B10B 6527 back.
I'm off to southport by bus tomorrow might try and get some pics and some unusual workings!:P
As far as the DLAs are concerned, 4064 is off to Bolton and 4094 is to be converted to open top along with 4 others. Southport are receiving 2 from Bootle and 3 from Birkenhead. Those mooted are 4050, 4095-4098. This is subject to confirmation though. 3 Olympians are sold for further use and the other 2 for scrap again to be confirmed numbers wise.

Thanks for clarifying that. I wonder which ones are being scrapped? From a driver's point of view they all seem fairly spot on. Do you know where the DLAs that are being converted are destined for? North Wales?
Today I saw;

3089/2624 on the 48s

7636/7656 on PR2

47/48A branded 3033 on the 44

3083/3085 on the 375/385s

A B7 decker on the 43
Both 4064 and 4094 operating the 375/385s today

B10B 2725 has just left Southport on a 375, while branded Volvo B7 4103 is on the 43/6 for engineering reasons.
Just on 2725 now, also I've just had 4064 on 49s

Could anyone post a photograph of the destination code list for these buses please.
