Many thanks indeed for the gen. I went up to Southport for a ride on these today and managed to bag 2163 and 2165 on the 44 and 2160 on the 49. Also out were 2162 (44), 2164 (49) and 2166 (46), while 2624 was also on the 46.

It was nice to give these a go but it's safe to say the passengers won't miss them. London's streets have been a cruel mistress as their ride quality is shambolic, particularly 2160 and 2163 which were boneshakers. 2165 was a little better but still night and day compared with the longer Enviro200s Southport have had from new, which ride decently. Their seating is uncomfortable and the legroom really poor apart from the seat alongside the emergency exit which has bags of room. They're also too small for Southport's locals, especially the 49 which seems to be busier than the 44 and 46, at least on Saturdays.

Now let's hope Southport use their extra Enviro400s where they are really needed, on the 47.

Yeah they get Packed on the 46 and 44 during school hours
I know from reading on here that the Enviro400s are replacing the Enviro200s at Southport but considering the Commanders are going by the sound of things what if anything is replacing the Commanders at Southport?

The 8 Enviro200s and the 2 Commanders are being replaced by the 10 brand new Streetlites..

The extra deckers are initially on loan after PVR reductions to increase capacity.
4570 was on the 47s today

2491 was picked up by Trevor Wigley for scrap on Monday and 2587 by PVS for its recycling today.
