The first two of the Sapphire Enviro400s strayed from the 47 yesterday afternoon: 4639 went on the 49 and 4643 on the 300. The first 'decker I've seen on the 300 in a long while.

From what I've been advised, these cannot be used on the 375/85 currently as they are not Euro 6 standard and hence not compliant for the Greater Manchester section of route.
Are there any plans to convert these to Euro 6 standard?
Surprisingly, one of them is on the 375/85 today.
3168 came back out for service in Southport on 9th July. All repaired and looking like nothing has happened. It has appeared on the 47 for the past two days.

The low emission zone in the Manchester area zones has not been enforced so can't see it being a problem. The pulsars and Enviro400 have had exhaust conversions to allow them to run
Has the unrest in Southport affected bus services in the town?

The 46 is currently diverting away from Sussex Road as the protest and subsequent riot took place where that service runs. Other than that no other services seem to have been affected.

Buses finished earlier than usual last night apart from 47 and the 375
