I've booked him an appointment at Specsavers. Reading an M as a W is forgivable, but mistaking a decker for a saloon isn't Hammer
2633 lost most of its front end last night after an RTA in Derby Road, Southport
FYI the loan fleet here has settled for the rails with the following:- 4564,4565,4568,4571,4633,4634,4665,4668 and 4672. 4672 having being here since the beginning of the Kirkby phase of the Miseryrail platform works some 8 weeks ago+.
The present phase finishes this weekend so all will return to their incumbent home depots.

Be a shame to see 4672 go back. never dreamt I'd say that about an Enviro400 Smile
2522 is now here and out on 300 today as a guess to replace 2633.
Have the Rail Enviro 400s that where here returned to Speke & Green Lane yet?
Not to sure which one but a newly liveried Commander was out today on 47s
That'll be 2586.
Is 2522 still here?
Any idea when the 300 will divert into that new housing development on Town Lane? It's in the planning application that Arriva will divert the 300 and possibly the 44 into the estate.

The 300 was diverted through the existing estate adjacent to the new houses at one time, but passengers complained because it ceased to stop outside the Hospital and there was quite a walk for those with limited mobility, so Arriva re-routed it back to its original route. At the moment it goes around the side of the new houses and serves Wight Moss Way where there are various offices. If it is re-routed again through the new estate, it would still have to stop outside the Hospital or passengers will not be very happy.

Southport depot are now using Ticketer machines.
