I'd say its right though they have B10s and I'm not sure what they do. I caught an Enviro 200 in Formby doing a 44 and passed a B10 on the 44. B10s could just do anything and everything but not 375/385.

B10's can and do work the 375/385 on rare occasions. In the past week or so, both 2722 and 2726 worked late 375's on the same evening.
The B10's will appear on locals but primarily they appear on 300's more than anything else

Thank you to those of you who clarified vehicles at Southport and their routes. I had forgotten that they had some Renowns, as I still associated these with St Helens!

I have the feeling that the VLWs are mainly just for school and peak-hour work.

I admit that I haven't been there since 2006 but am looking to make amends this month. I had held back for a while in the hope that route 47 would be upgraded to MAX spec, but with the "ordinary" refurb to some Pulsars, this does not seem likely any time soon.
A correction to the list I provided is that the DAF DB250 toppers here in storage for the winter are actuallly 3988, 3989 and 3991 and not as stated.
