V980XUB replaced YJ11EKL on the 196/147 this evening, it can quite often be found on this route during the week too in place of YJ61MOF.
P7 HTL was involved in a RTC this morning and like J8 HTL is due to be off the road for some time.
the 54 Reg Solo is now back on the road and was on the 36/141 on Wed, With credit to HTL on Facebook the following Solos have arrived:

YJ16 DYD
YJ16 DYF
YJ16 DYG
YJ16 DYH
These are Optare Solo M7900SE-R (half a bay longer than previous new ones) so I expect are B27F but I will try to find out!
Volkswagen SF05 GFJ was on the 141/36 tonight!

What route do these VW's and the Merc Sprinters normally operate during the daytime? I have seen the Renualt Masters on special school work in the past.
You'll normally find the Sprinters on 897/898/899/883, sometimes they escape onto other routes as well. The Volkswagen is a Merseylink bus but can be used in service when required.
I think the Volkswagens are not DDA so really should not be out
The volkswagen doesn't even have any destination equipment fitted and is basically just a minibus.
