There was a 12 reg Optare Solo on the 192 tonight, It sounded more like a Gardner engined Leyland Lynx!

That might have been YJ12 GZK (188) - heard that on the 101 this afternoon and it sounded very odd!

Should be, the 101 interworks with the 192 and It did look like a YJ12G**

It sounded like its exhaust had blown! This has to be said - these new Solos don't exactly sound brand-new...

Hi All,

I noted new Mercedes Sprinter minibus BX12 DZG earlier on the 883, first time I've seen or heard reports of it away from route 897.

A few other workings noted this week have been W601 PTO on the 173/4 on Tuesday, W602 PTO on the 187 on Wednesday and perhaps less rare W603 PTO on the 288 yesterday.

Rental Enviro200 KX59 CYV was also on the 173/4 yesterday (one of only two rental buses remaining) along with new Solo YJ12 PNK and the usual two Solos YJ12 GZG/H that are always on the route!

the new sprinter looks good i think as i seen it on the 883 when doing me 89 before.

it does look smart MM. Saw it before myself on 883. just a shame its white with no markings as it would suit HTL Green

i agree,would suit the green.
Looks a lot better than the older version and does it have more seating than the older ones.

MM, it has exactly the same seating capacity as the older ones. (16 seats) :-)

thanks,it just looks like there is more seats on the newer one as the passengers seemed more happier on the new than they did on the older ones.
