This is true, you can't drive them with doors open but there is a door reset switch on them for such eventualities (I was shown this at the weekend) - the driver mustn't have been aware of this!
Couple of odd workings today, W603 PTO (I think it was that one, at Nottingham Solo anyway!) on the 173/174 along with YJ12 PNN.
The Huyton Circulars 146/245/246/247 and 870/827 have had Solo YJ12 PNK on for the last three days too instead of PNN, not sure why this had been swapped!
Finally one from yesterday, Solo V980 XUB was on the 173/174!
last 2 days there been an overall white enviro on 135/137 and 138
KX08HME if I remember correctly.
Problems on the 236 yesterday the bus in use was the red optare alero and it only has 14 seats and no standees driver was having to leave people behind in melling on most trips and there was uproar its the same story when the sprinters are on this route suggest a dart or Enviro 200 would be more suitable.
I do wonder whether Merseytravel set down minimum seating requirements in there tenders , as leaving people behind on a tendered journey has to be unacceptable as its classed as socially necessary.

I believe similar problems arise on certain sections of the 137/138 sometimes when the small Solos are used.
BF62 JZV on 17B this afternoon - I see what people mean now about the ride quality of these vehicles - shocking)

And one of these damn Sprinters on the 102. Really??
The tiny Solos are horrible in my opinion, I fear how bad the Sprinters will be! Don't like really small buses.
