Thanks for finding out Dave! CWX was on the 883 the other day when I rode the 883 but I was on the other bus that was out, Renault Master/Rohill Harrier X338 SKJ which was B14F but is now B12F - a set of two seats is removed, I assume so it is better for Merseylink use!
On another note, the Mercedes Vario R192 DNM is still going, I saw it on the Asda Free Bus on Tuesday and today!
Just been past Asda Hunts Cross and there is another Solo on the Asda Free Shopper Bus service (V980 XUB I think, but only seen from a distance - it was in full livery but didn't look like a new one) while ex Nottingham Solo W602 PTO is on the 187.
it was indeed V980XUB Steve.
Just saw YJ12 GXR on the 266, nothing out of the ordinary but the display said 'Gartson Circular'. Lol
Solo YJ12 PNL took pride of place on the 152 today on HTL's first day of operation.
Nice bus that, I rode it on the 174 yesterday!
Newly renumbered route 56 (Liverpool - Netherton) was running yesterday with at least Solo YJ12 GZL on it, however in the photo I got of it (I'll get it online later) the LED didn't show up but it was displaying the new route number 56!
Bizarrely the HTL Buses 56 route still retains Merseytravel (156) funding as do some Arriva Saturday morning 56 journeys.
Sadly, I reckon it's only a matter of time before funding is withdrawn completely.
I'm not really sure why the 156 was renumbered 56 (or 56A for Sat mornings) seems an odd one really!
Confusingly too HTL started a different 156 yesterday too, (St Helens - Ashton-in-Makerfield).
Hi All,
HTL have another acquired Mercedes Sprinter 616CDi, MX05 SMO, an overall white example with a wider than normal body (apparently Koch but to be confirmed), this bus was new in 04/2005 but has just arrived at HTL, having been retaxed this month.
This is MX05 SMO with one of its previous operators -

I did get a rear end photo but it was inside HTL's depot building so isn't a good pic to show the bus but I will get them online later anyway!
Also noted in the depot was Dart SLF/ALX200 Y196 KNB which has now received a new engine so should be back on the road shortly.
