The ALX200 was out on the Garston Circulars today so it seems to be back in normal use again!
Ideal bus for them routes. long solos are still too small for it
I do hope the work it's received is substantial. It was an absolute wreck of a bus the last time it was in service; the idle vibrations and rattling on it were dire.
X338 SKJ on the 258 yesterday. Totally unsuitable, but very comfy!
It appears one of the first new batch of Mercs have entered service. Just saw a photo on Facebook of it, it's painted in HTL green and appears to be registered DF62 JZW or if not that something very similar. Looks really smart!
BF62 JZW is correct, this was the first one to go out (10.30 883 from the depot!), BF62 JZT/U and another unidentified one (quite possibly JZV, I shall try to find out tomorrow!) were in the depot tonight too, photos to follow shortly!

They are B17F, body conversion is Evobus and other than the livery they are the same as BX12 DZG!
A promised, taken about an hour before the bus did its first service run!

Million Mile Bus DE52 OJS is now likely to see retirement finally!
Cheers for them pictures Steve, look very smart indeed! Hopefully they'll be logoed up soon. With a bit of luc these'll see off the two rental buses and DE52 OJS and DK03 CWX.
Rental buses are staying for now apparently, but they will see off all the old Mercedes Sprinters and Renault Masters!

Two (I think!) more VW minibuses are due (not sure if they are new ones or not though) for Merseylink, similar to SF05 GGK which will also see off more of the older minibuses.

Technically though, as these new Mercedes have 17 seats, they count as proper buses as you need a category D licence to drive them, if they had 16 you could drive them on a D1 minibus licence!
I think they look smart in the green.
