I'll probably be biased here but I do like the little Solos - ride isn't quite the best (the bigger two Solos GXP/R do ride better) but as buses they could be worse than those - They rattle a lot less than the rental Enviro200s!
3111's pic just reminded me that V980XUB was on the 152 yesterday, I saw it in the morning on the 714. Usually a YJ12 Solo on here.
And you having said that reminds me that there's a rental Enviro200 on there today. Both that and the V reg Solo are a better size than the usually allocated YJ12 PNL anyway.
Rental Enviro200 KX08 HME was on the 156/602 last night with Solo M850 V980 XUB on the 196/147 too!

As much that that V980 XUB is a lot older than the other Solos, it is very nice to drive and seems quite a bit quicker than the last time I drove it back in December!
Think it may have been the first time anything other than a Solo has been on the 156/602 since HTL took it over.
V980 XUB is out on the 102 today, rare to see something which isn't a small Solo on there!
If that is one of the old Nottingham Buses I often see one on that route mixed in with the small solos
V980 XUB is ex First Bristol, bought new by the National Trust to run route X56 (Dyram Park Shuttle) but after the contract with First ended National Trust sold the bus off and HTL Buses bought it in 2006 via Belle Vue auctions.

The Nottingham ones are all W reg ones, W601-3 PTO & W958 PAU.
Is the S-NRB Solo not here anymore? That was ex Nottingham wasn't it too.
S284 NRB is another ex Nottingham one which is still in the depot however it has been stripped for spares and as far as I know will be scrapped in the near future.
