Now this is going to be fun, 3 Trips on the 152 are being extended to Ormskirk via Edge Hill Uni! Just hope the Vans aint used on this coz i know for a fact a lot of Uni Students will be using this

The regular 152 allocation is a 12 reg Solo, it's not often the vans see use.

Although it's nice to see a link to Ormskirk restored, it's a shame it's at the expense of the current running times meaning that the service no longer coincides with Rainford schools' finish times and the last journey of the day to St Helens is lost as it now terminates in Rainford.
It's interesting that the 3x Ormskirk service will call at Edge Hill University even on Saturdays and outside of term-time
Many live on campus so apart from during the summer I'm sure it will still be a useful link going into Ormskirk at least.
Optare Solo M880SR YJ11 OJK is the latest arrival here, it was previously here in late 2013.
One of the 06 plate darts was on the 30 the other night saw it going into Maghull railway station i live near the station it had the route number on a card in the windscreen so presumed its destination board hadnt yet been programmed the other buses ive seen on this route so far have been Solos and Solo SRs. The route doesnt seem to have carried many passengers around the Maghull station area yet but its still early days for the route yet so hoping it should pick up.
The allocations for the weekday work out so there should be 4 Optare Solos and one Dart SLF on the route. Sunday should see Darts only but the destinations are not yet fully programmed so can't display 'Dingle' just yet. So far no one has been on or off around the Maghull Station bit at any time I did the routes.
Is much mileage being lost with the very tight times? would be surprised if anyones able to keep to time on there
I wouldn't really want to speculate, the times are incredibly tight for the Sunday daytime service but the evening duties all have a 20 minute recovery built into them at Ashworth Hospital, which means even with running late you will still always come back on time for the second half of the night. As such, any night time losses at the moment are due to bus issues rather than anything else. This will probably change when a football match happens though.
BF62 JZW was on the 56 last night...
