Just seen one of these on its way to creamfields!
Old livery Myllennium on the 500 tonight showing "Free Wifi" on it's destinations, which is odd to see as only the bendies have this and all other buses you see on it show just "City Centre/Liverpool Airport".

This indeed made it on to the 500 yesterday more than likely the driver was not familiarised to drive a bendy bus.
I seen it on 4 occasions passing by with a standing load to and from Liverpool Airport to the City Centre, great to see. This weekend Liverpool Airport have confirmed its going to be the busiest weekend of the year for them!
Considering how busy 500 has been this weekend wouldn't it have been easier to run duplicates as and when required on the route or run the service at an enhanced frequency as this would have probably shifted the crowds quicker and helped with capacity
Swop single deckers for double deckers - Now which route foregoes the doubles to provide it with double deckers.
Over the years the 500 seems to have got more popular.
Since around the time the bendybuses arrived, the 500 has become much less busy in my experience. I'm not saying the two events are related - necessarily.
You had runs outside peak season that would easily fill a double decker two to three years ago. Now it can be as little as a handful of passengers. The lack of a clockface timetable doesn't help.
Priority routes for double decker conversion at Speke should be the 80, 80A and 75 in my opinion. Extra capacity is certainly needed here.
The thing with the 500 is the minute Arriva decide to pull the plug it is almost certain that Stagecoach would ride in and operate something similar from Liverpool Airport to the City Centre .
Most Airports have some form of service to the City Centre Limited Stop if there isnt good railway connections .
Nobody in there right mind wants to get off a plane and go round the houses to get to there hotel in Liverpool City Centre or dont want to pay a Taxi fare either.

I agree!
Please do take into account that it is creamfields weekend meaning the B7s have been taken off routes to operate this event meaning myllenniums have been filling in on the routes they may have been allocated on.
