4200 and 4214 are covering for the three Geminis temporarily reallocated to Winsford alongside 2497 more than likely.
2497 is here to cover for buses currently at St. Helens body shop. Another decker due here soon.
An Enviro400 was on the 79/79D today. I think it was 4566 (BVX) but not sure.
I saw 4556 on the 79/79D earlier this evening - could it have been that one?
Enviro 4572 was noted on the 81 this afternoon,
B7TL 4117 and Enviro 400 4556 were both out on the 79 today.
New 500 Change, talk about a joke...

Liverpool One Bus station as a terminus point , i do agree someone at Arriva Speke must want this service 500 withdrawn , this is going to be long lingering death.
The 500 will then be identical to the 82A then!

It would seem that way but Arriva must have done its homework. I wonder how many people board or alight at the various stops around the city. Apart from the Lime Street and Queen Square stops, I suspect not many. Also, the PVR is reduced from three to two so that will be a significant saving without impacting too greatly on passenger numbers. Time will tell.
