2502 WASNT towed to Speke. still at winsford thanks to creweblue for the info
4121 - broke down at Hardman street earlier today , fitter in attendance also , had the radiator ventilation side open , so we could suspect either overheat or something may have been sucked into the vent causing a problem

The Liverpool "AirLink" network will be shrinking again in February...

Cancellation Accepted: Operating between Liverpool South Park Way and Liverpool South Park Way given service number 501 effective from 03-Feb-2013.
I wonder if the two 501-branded bendies will have their branding amended to accommodate details for the 500...? Also, an extra two "spare" bendies should help the 500 become fully-bendi-operated; recently, I don't think that there have been many days that something other than a bendi has seen use on the service! (I understand that drivers also influence the use of bendies on the service, however there have been a few off the road in the depot, too.)
The 86A doesn't take too long to get between the areas that the 501 serves, so I don't think that the 501 will be missed too much...
What a terrible loss the 501 will be... not!
I am just wondering whether with the 501 going that somebody hasnt thought that the 500 will operate to LSP enroute to JLA and Liverpool , keeping the amount of services near enough the same but using less vehicles in total.
It could also be down to the fact that the LSP - Airport section is already served by the frequent 86A and the 80A too, making the 501 redundant.

Could even use them for the 699 but with certain amendments , quite a lot of interurban bendies are on it usually

Would it be worth it, though? The 500 would lose its "direct" status if that happened. There are enough services that cover the 501; a replacement isn't needed.
Don't expect to see Volvo/ALX400 CX06 EAP (4118) around... It's been involved in an electric-related fire and, as a result of that, it has destroyed itself!
